Chattooga County EMA Director Eddie Henderson said that he will have a webinar meeting with the National Weather Service at 11 AM this morning concerning the severe weather expected this afternoon in Chattooga County.

Henderson said that as of now, this afternoon’s storms are expected to be more severe than this morning.  The National Weather Service and the Weather Channel are saying that storms this afternoon could produce tornados.  A lot of rotation is expected to be present in the storms which could bring on tornadic activity.
