
A crash victim extrication training event was recently held for Chattooga County fire departments. The training was hosted by the Trion Fire Department and was taught by instructors from the Georgia Public Safety Training Center. The training was funded by the Georgia Emergency Management Agency. The sixteen-hour course was held over a period of two days. Twenty-four firefighters from Chattooga County completed the training course. Fire Departments that participated in the training included: Trion, Telgoa, Catoosa, Hays, Lyerly, Menlo and Cloudland. Trion Scrap Metal provided vehicles for the training course.
