A Chattooga County woman reported a case of debit card fraud to the Chattooga County Sheriff’s Department last week.  According to a report released on Tuesday, the complainant told a responding deputy that someone had used her United Community Bank card to make purchases totaling over $900.  The purchases were made in New Mexico.  The complainant discovered that her debit card had been used on 10 separate occasions without her permission.  The debit card fraud is being investigated by the Chattooga County Sheriff’s Office.
