Summerville Police responded to a call about a damaged vehicle last week after a log truck allegedly damaged a vehicle.

Police responded to the Ingles’ parking lot where Jose Edwards of West Armuchee Road told the officers that she was sitting at the light on Rome Boulevard (Highway 27) when a log truck turning onto the Lyerly Highway (Highway 114) grazed the F-150 rental truck she was driving with the logs on the trailer of the truck.

Police say that there were marks on the rental truck but the report did not indicate that the log truck was identified.
