It was reported last week that a Chattooga County home was burglarized while repairs were being made, The uncle of the homeowner who was doing the repair work initially reported the incident. According to the report, work was being done to the 440 Long Hollow Road, Trion, residence when the front door was found opened and having been tampered with. The next day, it was found that a door leading under the home had been torn off and a cement block had been broken. On Thursday, was workers reportedly went under the home and found that the wiring was missing, as well as other items. The men working on the home were told the homeowner had to file the report. The next day she came by the Sheriff's Office and did so. She told officers the home was completely furnished and so far she hadn't actually been inside the home to see if anything was missing.
