Family, along with former and current staff of Summerville Middle School gathered this week to honor the late Greg Vaughn, the longtime custodian at the school. 

A bench was presented in honor of Mr. Vaughn.  Vaughn’s sister Denise, Bernetta, and Elaine, along with his niece and great nephew came to the presentation of the new bench.

Former colleague and retired educator Kathy Floyd said Thursday, “Family and friends gathered to present a bench to Summerville Middle School in memory of Greg Vaughn. Greg was custodian at Summerville Middle School for around twenty-five years. He was loved by faculty and staff as well as students. He took care of us all and was loved dearly and is missed greatly”.
