Lookout Mountain Court Appointed Special Advocates for Children (CASA) is calling on compassionate individuals to volunteer and become a voice for children navigating the complexities of the foster care system. CASA volunteers advocate for the best interests of these vulnerable children, ensuring their needs are prioritized and their voices are heard in court.

“Every child deserves to be heard and understood,” says Renita McClain, CASA’s volunteer coordinator. “By becoming a CASA volunteer, you can help bring out the best in a child experiencing foster care, providing them with the support they need to thrive.” CASA volunteers play a vital role in providing support and guidance to children as they navigate the challenges of their situations. This spring and fall, CASA will host training opportunities for prospective volunteers, including court observation and comprehensive training. Flexible monthly volunteer opportunities allow individuals to make a direct impact in a child’s life.
