A ceremony was held Thursday in LaFayette, naming the Headquarters building of the Lookout Mountain Drug Task Force in honor of it’s former leader… the late Patrick Doyle.
Current Task Force Commander Caine Railey and Sheriff Steve Wilson made the presentation. The City of LaFayette provided a bronze plaque for the building entrance.
Commander Doyle’s badge was also retired at the event, and was presented to his wife and son. P.J. Doyle now serves as a K-9 handler with the Walker Sheriff’s Department.
