Plans for a new luxury RV resort, DiVine Village, have been officially announced. Construction is slated to begin in early 2025 on a sprawling 110-acre site near Dahlonega.

According to a recent news release from DiVine Village, the resort promises to offer an array of upscale amenities designed for modern travelers seeking both adventure and relaxation. Guests can look forward to luxury motorcoach pads, a heated pool, hot tubs, pickleball courts, and even a wine-tasting room. Other features will include a gaming room, inviting fire pits, picturesque lake views, and pet-friendly areas, ensuring that every aspect of comfort and enjoyment is covered. The visionary behind the project, Dahlonega resident Peter Shipps from Pro Vision Design, is dedicated to creating a space that harmonizes with the stunning natural landscape.

Shipps is also known for his work on the Old Edwards Inn in Highlands, North Carolina. “We were inspired by Dahlonega’s picturesque views, welcoming community, and inherent charm,” said DiVine Village Owner Tom Petrillo. “Our goal is to maintain its beautifully majestic essence while introducing DiVine Village. This retreat will allow modern travelers to experience a unique blend of adventure and relaxation, all while exploring Dahlonega’s many treasures. I have many fond memories of RV road trips with my family, and I look forward to welcoming guests to create their own cherished memories soon.”

To discuss the next steps for the development, a public hearing is scheduled for Monday, December 9, at 5:30 p.m. This meeting will address plans to accommodate 260 RV sites within the resort.
