Lyerly's Christmas in the Park is at 6 p.m. Friday at McLoed Park in Lyerly.  The Chattooga High band will play Christmas carols at the free event. Free popcorn, hayrides and a bonfire are also planned. Area churches are invited to bring their choirs to perform. Those interested may contact city hall.
