A 34-year-old Lyerly man was arrested this week at Dowdy Park after Summerville Police say he threw the contents of his drink onto another person.  Police were summoned to the park after the victim reported that John Howard Trammel and she had been in an argument, and Trammel allegedly threw his drink at the woman, causing her fear for her safety.  Police arrived and arrested Trammel at 6:25 PM on Wednesday of this week.  Trammel was booked into the Chattooga County and received a citation for disorderly conduct and was additionally charged with criminal damage to property in the second degree.
