A Lyerly man was arrested over the weekend in Floyd County according to docket records from the Floyd County Jail.

Thirty-eight year old Roger Dale Whitaker of Lyerly was arrested on Sunday by the Georgia State Patrol and charged with DUI.  Additionally he was charged with failure to maintain a single lane and no tail light.

According to the report Whitaker was arrested on Highway 27 in Floyd County.
