The Walker County Sheriff’s department reported the arrest of a Lyerly man earlier this month.  Daniel Chad Burgess, 22, of Cannon Road, Lyerly, was charged with obstruction or hindering law enforcement officers, use of “fighting words” or obscene and vulgar language, pedestrian under the influence of alcohol or drugs.  The arrest was made on February 7^th.
