The Town of Lyerly has applied for a Community Development Block Grant (CDGB) that would allow the town to upgrade aging water lines and also to place fire hydrants within 200 feet of every home in Lyerly. Town of Lyerly officials will be conducting surveys of city residents to determine the Town’s eligibility for grant funds to replace water lines inside the City Limits. Surveyors will be people that residents are familiar with, and will be conducting interviews door to door and at Town Hall.
