A neighbor at the solar farm in Lyerly says that people are trespassing on her property, and she isn’t happy about the damage that they are doing to her property.
According to a report from the Chattooga County Sheriff’s Office, Ms. Paula McNeese contacted the sheriff’s office because contractors who are working for Hannah Solar Farm’s location at 5412 Highway 114 in Lyerly, are using her property to access the solar farm and she says that the contractors are damaging her property in the process.
Ms. McNeese says that she has never given permission to Hannah Solar Farm or the contractors to use her property as an access to the hundreds of solar panels that are located on the property next to hers. She also said that contractors have been rude to her when she has approached them to ask why they are on her property.
The responding deputy told Ms. McNeese that she should contact Chattooga County Magistrate Judge Tracy Maddux’s office to find a way to settle the dispute in the civil matter.
