The Town of Lyerly will hold its second annual Severe Weather Awareness Day on Saturday, February 12 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. Hotdog and hamburger plates will be sold during the event, with proceeds going to the Lyerly Volunteer Fire Department. Information on severe weather will be available, and door prizes will be awarded this year as well.  AM 1180 Chattooga County Radio plans to broadcast live from the event.  Stay tuned for more information.
