Students in the Chattooga County School system are going to have to make up some days due to the amount of time they have missed as the result of winter weather. With a four-day school week, Chattooga County has the option of going on Mondays to make-up days.
At the Chattooga County Board of Education meeting on Thursday evening, board members approved three make-up days for students in the Chattooga County School system. There was a good bit of discussion about the days proposed by Dr. Dwight Pullen, Chattooga County School Superintendent, but in the end the board approved the days recommended.
Students will go to school on the following days – all Mondays:
March 14, 2011
March 28, 2011
April 18, 2011
