A forty-two-year-old Summerville man was arrested by police last week after he was found arguing with his mother and disturbing the peace. According to Summerville Police, Kenneth Lee Edgeworth of a Highway 48, Summerville address, was at a residence on Martin Street causing a disturbance. Police say that when they arrived on the scene, Edgeworth was arguing loudly with his mother. When an officer tried to mediate the situation, Edgeworth reportedly threatened the officer with bodily harm. Edgeworth was arrested on disorderly conduct charges and was booked into the Chattooga County Jail on Thursday of last week.
