Chattooga County Sheriff Deputies responded to a verbal domestic dispute last week. On November 22nd, deputies arrived to a verbal domestic in progress at an Orchard Hill Rd. Address. Upon arrival deputies observed an irate male outside the front door of the residence. The male, Mr. James Nicholson was pacing, waving his hands in the air and it was noted that there were various broken items on the front porch near Mr. Nicholson.

Deputies spoke with Mr. Nicholsons wife, who was inside the residence. She stated that the dispute had started earlier at a bar in Chattanooga, after they were asked to leave because Mr. Nicholson appeared intoxicated. They continued arguing in the car home, and upon arriving home, Mrs. Nicholson had locked herself in the house.

Mr. Nicholson was placed under arrest for disorderly conduct and tranposrted to Chattooga County Detention without incident.
