A Chattooga County man was arrested for stalking after repeatedly tapping on a woman’s window and threatening her at her father’s home.
According to a report from the Chattooga County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were called by the woman’s father after repeatedly telling the man to leave his adult daughter alone. Deputies told the victims that they needed to take out a temporary protection order against the suspect. A short time later, deputies saw the suspect walking back towards the woman’s home and stopped him. The suspect admitted to being at the victim’s residence several times and told deputies he was on his way back because he was “in love” with the woman.
Deputies arrested forty-eight-year-old Robert Allen Ramey and booked him into the Chattooga County Jail on Friday of last week and charged him with criminal trespass and stalking.
