Summerville Police were called to the scene of a domestic dispute on Sunday after a woman said that her boyfriend slapped and bit her because she woke him up.

According to a report that was released on Monday, the victim said that she was watching television with her boyfriend’s children around 4 AM.  The report stated that the victim said she went into the bedroom to wake the man up and he became angry and began to slap her in the face, bit her fingers and slammed her into the wall.  Police said that they could see that the woman’s fingers had been bitten and there was damage to the drywall in the bedroom.

After the altercation, the boyfriend got his children and left and went to his father’s house on Underwood Dairy Road.

Police went to Underwood Dairy Road and arrested thirty-five-year-old Payton Jay Williamson and charged him with simple battery and booked him in the Chattooga County Jail.
