Summerville Police were called to a Peppermint Place address on Monday concerning a man who was screaming in the yard of a residence. 

When they arrived on the scene, the suspect was hiding behind a nearby mobile home.  Witnesses told police that the man was in the yard screaming because his girlfriend’s son had “cooked too many hotdogs”.

Police had already given the man a couple of warnings about his behavior.  Police said the he was intoxicated at the time of the incident.

Sixty-four-year-old Hugh Vernon Snider, Jr. was arrested and booked into jail on disorderly conduct charges.
