A man has been arrested in connection with a break-in which caused approximately $5,000 in damages late last year.

18 year old Zaykives Banard McCray, of Rome, allegedly tossed a brick through a window at the Sweet Bar located on Turner McCall Boulevard back on November 12th – and, according to jail reports, he then entered the business, and took two soft drinks.  That's it.  

He is also accused of damaging an automobile on West 3rd Street at around that same time, to the tune of $2,447 in repairs.

McCray stands charged with two counts of criminal damage to property and with one count of burglary.
