A forty-nine-year-old Summerville man was arrested recently after stuffing food items down his pants at the Circle K Convenience Store on Commerce Street.  According to a report from the Summerville Police Department, a store employee called police after seeing Kevin Alphonso Boykin stuff several candy bars and some sausage and cheese biscuits down his pants.  When the officer approached Boykin, he found that the suspect still had some beef sticks, Snicker bars and two cold orange Gatorades inside his britches.  In all, Boykin was accused of attempting to steal $42.97 worth of food items.  Boykin was charged with shoplifting and was banned from both Circle K stores in Summerville.
