A Rome man was charged with terroristic threats after he told a police officer to watch his back because he was going to get his gun after he gets out of jail, reports stated.
According to Floyd County Jail reports:
Oliver John Dukes, 42, of 1321 Hull Ave., was arrested at 906 Fifth Ave. after he refused to leave the apartment of another man after being asked multiple times. While he was being transported to the jail, he threatened an officer. When he was being searched at the jail, he was found to have a bottle of prescription medication that did not belong to him.
He is also charged with criminal trespassing and possession of stolen property.
