A Rome resident is charged with burglary and theft by taking.

According to arrest reports, 40-year old David James Bray II of Lee Street entered a trailer, belonging to a local business on West Hermitage Road.

Bray allegedly took property with an estimated value of $4,651, including tools and copper wire.

Some of the property has been returned, leaving a balance of $3,123 in estimated property loss.

The alleged theft occurred on December 25.
