One Summerville man was "acting crazy" all day, according to his aunt. Chattooga County officers reported to Skelton Street on June 2nd to try to diffuse the family matter.

Mr. Clyde Chambless did not recognize his family members and had been calling them by other names. His family called for medical attention, but refused to go to the hospital for treatment. Neither EMS staff nor deputies could force Mr. Chambless to go to the hospital without his consent; Mr. Chambless' aunt wanted him to either seek medical attention or leave her property.

Mr. Chambless was told that if he did not receive medical help or leave voluntarily he would be taken into custody for trespassing. Mr. Chambless refused yet again and was arrested for Criminal Trespassing.
