Floyd County Police have charged a Rome resident with being in possession of two stolen motorcycles.

22 year old Tyler Lee Roden, was taken into custody at a location on New Calhoun Highway at around 10:45 Monday morning.  Police have recovered a 90cc Yamaha and a 125L Suzuki that had been stolen from a Floyd County residence on December 1st.

Roden was charged with two felony counts of theft by receiving stolen property.

Roden who is also facing charges in Gordon County as well as a probation violation in Floyd County, is being held in jail without bond.
