Summerville Police arrested a twenty-three-year-old man who they found hanging around a church parking lot in the middle of the night.

According to a report released by the Summerville Police Department, Brandon Lee Snowden was observed near a church in the Seventh Street area shortly after 2 AM.  Police questioned Snowden as to why he was there.  At first, he gave them no reason, but later in the conversation admitted that he was at the church to steal a catalytic converter off a church vehicle.

Snowden was booked into the Chattooga County Jail on charges of loitering and prowling.
