A twenty-one-year-old Summerville man was arrested recently for driving under the influence – in the drive thru at the Summerville McDonald’s.

Chattooga County Sheriff’s deputies and Summerville Police responded to a 911 call about a man who was passed out in a “lifted Chevrolet truck”.  When a deputy arrived on the scene, the truck was sitting at the drive thru.  The deputy said that the driver was “passed out” when the deputy approached the truck.  When the deputy got the man awake, he opened the door and the deputy could smell marijuana.  The deputy said that “while speaking to the driver, his eyes were bloodshot and his speech was slurred”.

Jakydius Price was arrested for DUI – multiple substances, and was booked into the Chattooga County Jail.  A family member came and retrieved the pickup truck.
