A Chattooga County man that threatened to kill his dad in December of last year has been indicted by the Chattooga County Grand Jury.
According to the information from the Chattooga County Grand Jury, Thomas Wayne Blackmon of Rose Circle was indicted for criminal trespass, terroristic threats after he threatened to kill Wayne Lamar Blackmon. Thomas Blackmon made those threats in the presence of Chattooga County Deputies.
According to arrest reports at the time, Thomas Blackmon had put three gun bullets in a beer can and set the can on fire, prompting law enforcement to respond. At the time, deputies said that Thomas Blackmon was “talking out of his mind” while yelling at his father, Wayne Blackmon.
Blackmon will be facing the charges in court during the August term.
