One person was airlifted after falling an estimated 20 feet while rock climbing at Cherokee Rock Village in Alabama on Sunday afternoon.

Emergency crews were called to the park after a 911 call reporting a 52 year old male had fallen.

A medical helicopter was called to the helipad at the park to transport the subject to an area trauma center for treatment of unspecified injuries.
