According to an incident report at the Chattooga County Sheriff's Office on Sunday a deputy was dispatched to the back lot of the funeral home in Summerville, in regard to a report of a tan-colored vehicle sitting there with the motor running, occupied by an unknown male.

As the deputy approached the gold Nissan Maxima, he noticed that the driver of the car was asleep behind the wheel; when he awoke the man, he reportedly appeared disoriented and confused, and eventually told the officer he was tired, and had been parked there since 7:00

that morning.  At this point it was almost 3:00pm.

The man was quickly identified as Randolph Scott Green, Jr., who happened to be on parole.

The deputy noted that Green was extremely nervous, and appeared to be hiding something between his legs; when additional officers arrived on the scene Green gave his consent for a search of both himself and the vehicle; an opened lock-blade knife was found in the driver's seat and the search of Green turned up a clear plastic bag containing an off-white substance suspected of being Methamphetamine ICE.  A field test determined that that was indeed the case. 

Green's vehicle was towed from the scene, and he was transported to the Chattooga County

Jail, charged with Violation of the Georgia Controlled Substance Act/Possession of Meth.
