A Summerville man told police that he was struck by a vehicle while riding on Hemlock Street.

Ricky Lee Bankston told police that the accident happened on Tuesday of last week, but Mr. Bankston didn’t report the accident until Monday, October 4th.  Bankston said that he went to the emergency room on Friday of last week, and they advised him to file a report with the police department.

Bankston told the responding officer that the woman who was driving the car was his ex-girlfriend’s daughter.

Police advised Mr. Bankston to go to Magistrate Court if he wanted to take out a warrant.
