A Summerville man reported a case of possible fraud on Wednesday.  According to a report from the police department, the complainant said that he had ordered a 6.7 Power Stroke engine from a place called King’s Automotive.  The complainant advised that he spoke with a woman named “April Ross” at the company who took his payment of $7,758.  The transaction took place on February 20th.  The company advised to allow 10 days for shipping.  The complainant showed the responding officer an invoice showing that the engine had been paid for but the engine still had not shown up and when he attempted to call King’s Automotive – the number had been disconnected.  The incident was turned over to an investigator with the Summerville Police Department.
