On Thursday of last week, Officers were called to a home in Summerville regarding a man claiming self harm by firearm. Before arrival dispatch updated that the man had a gun and threatened to shoot EMS if they showed up to his residence. Once the officers arrived on the scene, they noticed the front door was wide open and they observed a subject in his recliner with no firearms around him. The subject stated he had no firearms in his house but gave consent to look around. The subject expressed he was concerned about other things he had in his home. He then grabbed a jar of meth from his room for the officers. After a thorough search of the house many drug related objects were found, along with methamphetamine, marijuana substances and suspected crack cocaine. The subject said that he doesn’t do meth, he gives it to females that come over to his house in return for sexual favors. Police said that the subject is seeking mental health treatment.
