A man with an existing warrant was arrested Monday at a convenience store in Lyerly.  According to a report from the Chattooga County Sheriff’s Office, a deputy saw thirty-year-old Cody Wayne Aycock pull into the parking lot of BJ’s Food Mart and had prior knowledge that the subject had an outstanding warrant.  When the deputy approached him, Aycock told the deputy that he had “just drove to the store”, but the deputy informed Aycock of the felony warrant and arrested him.  Aycock was booked into the Chattooga County Jail on charges of driving without a valid license, expired tag, probation violation and the outstanding warrant.
