On October 3rd, Chattooga County officers answered to a report of a theft from West Washington Street.

The complainant told officers that the day before his wife used his vehicle take a woman and her daughter to the store. While she was out, the wife was arrested and taken to the Chattooga County Jail.

The complainant said that he was unaware of who returned his vehicle to their residence, but was sure that several different items of his and his wife's belongings were missing from the car.

The items included both his and her clothing, a set of screwdrivers, two pairs of pliers, and a six-pack of black socks.

The incident report was referred to Investigations.
