A forty-four-year-old Trion man, identified as  Johnny Marvin Caylor, was found to be in possession of marijuana during a traffic stop after Caylor ran a stop sign, according to reports from the sheriff’s department.

Caylor, of Williams Cemetery Road, allegedly ran a stop sign in his red Chevrolet S10.

According to reports, when Caylor was approached by the sheriff’s deputy pulling him over, Caylor informed the deputy that he might have “a little in the glove box.” Sure enough, two plastic baggies of pot were found in the glove box.

Caylor was booked into the county jail shortly thereafter without further incident.
