Three men have been charged in the rape of a Summerville teenager Sunday.

Charged with rape are 24-year-old Robert Earl Brooks, III, of Scoggins St., Summerville,  and 43-year-old Michael Pauly Perry,  of Rainbow Trail, Summerville.   Justin Lopaz Foster,  of a Highway 114 address, Lyerly, age 24,  is charged with aggravated sodomy.

According to Summerville  Police Department Investigator Josh Brock, Perry and Brooks are accused of raping the 18-year-old teen at  the home of one of the suspects.  Foster is accused of attempting to sodomize the woman.

One of the three men involved allegedly gave the young woman  a ride to the residence, Summerville Police Detective Josh Brock said.  She reportedly thought they were just going to hang out and  had no idea the other men were going to be there.

After the alleged rape occurred  the men reportedly took the young woman home, where she immediately told her mother of the incident. She also was allegedly sent a text message by one of the men telling her not to go to police. The family contacted police the next day, according to Brock.  The woman was taken to the Sexual Assault Center where a rape kit was done.
