The City of Menlo announced a boil water order on Wednesday for all Menlo City water customers.  The city is not certain how long the boil water advisory will be in place as the city is making some needed upgrades to the water treatment facility.

City of Menlo officials say that there has been no major issues to prompt the boil water advisory, and that they are doing the boil water advisory as a precaution while the routine maintenance is being completed.

In the mean time, City of Menlo water customers can pick up a case of free bottled water at Menlo City Hall during regular business hours.  Limit of one case per household.

The City of Menlo says that they will notify WZQZ when the boil water advisory is lifted.
