The Menlo Elementary School “Y-Club” is hosting a can food drive in memory of a long time Menlo Lunchroom Employee that passed away over the Christmas break.  Known to students at Menlo School as “Granny” Bonnie Hall, Ms. Hall worked in the Menlo School Lunchroom for many, many years and always took great pride in her work. 

Organizers are asking each student and each teacher to bring in two canned food items for the food drive which would net the drive around 1,000 canned goods to be donated to local food pantries.  According to the organizers, “this would be a way to pass on the simple kindness and generosity of Granny Bonnie.”
