A forty-three-year-old Menlo woman was arrested in Floyd County this past week, according to records from Rome City Police.

Police say that Linda Coleman Laney of Menlo broke into a home on Ashland Park Boulevard and began to cook food which belonged to the victim.

Police added that when they arrived on scene Laney began to threaten bodily harm to them.

Laney was charged with first degree burglary, criminal trespass and terroristic threats and acts.
