A Chattooga County woman was arrested in Floyd County on Wednesday of this week after hitting government owned detour signs on Blacks Bluff Road.

Thirty-six-year-old Amy Cathleen Polk of Menlo was charged with felony interference with government property, duty upon striking fixture and driving on a closed road.

Polk was arrested at a residence on Foster Mills Road, according to Floyd County Police reports.   She was being held on a $3,500 bond as of Thursday.
