A bicycle, initially reported as stolen, was later found in a pile of furniture.

On Tuesday, Summerville Police Officers were dispatched to an Allen St. address in reference to a theft of a bicycle. Billy Stephens met with officers and stated that he had left his bike and a gray tote outside beside a can. When he returned later, the bicycle and the gray tote were missing. A female at the residence, Destiny Noles, then reported that she had seen some neighbors take the bike to a pile of old furniture on Smith St. The Officers and Mr. Stephens located the bike at that location, but not the gray tote. The front tire had been removed from the bicycle and left on the other side of the pile. Officers spoke with a neighbor on Allen St., Mrs. Angie Burel, who states that although Mr. Stephens owes her money, she knows nothing about the bike.

This case is still active.
