A burglary at a Chattooga County home was reported to Sheriff's deputies last Sunday. According to the report, James McClellan reported that he went to the vacant Mitchell Circle home to pick up some things when he realized several items had been stolen. Listed as missing on the report was: a Daisy BB fun that had been mounted over the door; several DVDs and CDs. The owner found it Interesting that power tools, a large tv, radios and an expensive telescope, as well as electrical items and furniture were not taken, according to the report. There reportedly were pry marks on the back door but the door frame was not damaged. The deputy told McClellan extra patrol would be put into effect until the end of September to give him time to pack everything up in the house.
