Information has now been released regarding the mobile home fire occurring last Friday in the 1800 block of Ringgold Road in LaFayette.

Firefighters responded to the location just after 6:30 that evening.

Reportedly the home was occupied by two children and two adults – and fortunately no one was hurt; the cause of the fire is believed to have been electrical in nature.

The structure was considered a total loss and the Red Cross was notified in an effort to help the family.

Fire Chief Randy Camp said when they arrived on the scene flames were already bursting through the windows of the home.
