Jobs at the Mohawk plant in Summerville are reportedly being cut. According to information received yesterday by AM 1180 Chattooga County Radio, at least 45 jobs will be cut at the Summerville plant.
Sources stated that one of the three lines that operates at the plant located in Summerville is being terminated. Some workers had been out of work for several weeks on a temporary lay-off.
No official word has been released from Mohawk Industries based in Calhoun.
