Cherokee County 9-1-1 received a call at 10:22 Monday morning – with the caller issuing a Bomb Threat at the Gadsden State Cherokee campus in Centre.

Faculty members and students were immediately notified that all classes were being suspended – and they were alerted to the situation through the `SchoolCast System` via text message.

The Centre Police, members of the Centre Fire Department and Cherokee County Sheriff`s Office Investigators responded to the campus on the Cedar Bluff Road, in order to conduct a thorough search of the facility, with an `All Clear` being given at 11:06am with classes resuming shortly thereafter.
