According to the Internal Revenue Service, more Georgians than ever e-filed their tax returns this year. An estimated more than 3.1 million ouit of 4.1 million people filed electronically this year. The number is up 8.7% over last year. The IRS also said that since e-file was created in 1990 almost 1 billion returns have been filed online.
